Description
Sedgwick returns as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, a tough-as-nails police detective who handles the high profile cases in Los Angeles. Season Two opens with Brenda and her team investigating the homicide of a fellow police officer. Other season highlights include a surprise visit from Brenda’s mother (played by TV and stage veteran Frances Sternhagen), Brenda’s ongoing relationship with Fritz, the investigation of a murdered paparazzi and Pope’s messy divorce. The thrilling two-part season finale entitled “Serving the King,” Brenda finds herself taking on a murder investigation that is linked to a terrorist group only to feel like she may be set up.
